The article describes modeling process and features of human capital as an input in postindustrial economy. We propose methods for human capital structure modeling in the short and long term, including the mechanisms of investment and transfer of human capital between time periods. A generalized structure of the human capital model is described along with several problems, which are critical for a complete human capital model.
