We used a hypothesis that life style of people with mortgage commitments is specific and very different from people without a mortgage. To identify and describe the specifics of “mortgage scenarios” people were divided into two groups (30 persons each group) with and without a mortgage. Methods: specific semantic differential “Life style”, Scale I-E” Rotter, scale of reactive and trait anxiety Spielberger-Hanin, scale of existence (SE test) A. Langle and K. Orgler, author’s questionary. The main hypothesis was confirmed (proved). The eleven specific psychological characteristics of people living in the mortgage scenario are described.
