The paper analyses continuing professional education of civil servants in modern Russia, legal gaps were identified and addressed them appropriate recommendations were given. The reasons for civil servant direction to professional training were identified and public order management algorithm for professional training and internship was depicted. Recommendations for changes in management and budgeting of civil servants continuing professional education were formulated.
