К вопросу о «бураложнике» в ярлыках ханов Золотой Орды русским митрополитам

The goal of article is an attempt to clarify the meaning of the term “buralozhnik” which is met in edicts (yarliks) of the Golden Horde khans to Russian metropolitans. The historiography of the question is analyzed since the works of the 19th c. (by I. D. Belyaev, I. N. Berezin, etc.) to the publications of specialists of the 21st c. (A. P. Grirgor’ev, S. A. Maslova, etc.). For decades scholars (historians, orientalists, source study specialists, philologists) disputed this term and offered their own interpretations of it which sometimes were alternative, but discussion is not over for today and resumes from time to time. Author compares khans’ yarliks to Russian metropolitans with other legal acts of the Golden Horde and comparative Chinggisid states. The results of the comparative analysis allow clarify to the reasons of mistaken interpretations of the term “buralozhnik” and offer author’s one.
