Аккультурационный стресс как антецедент психологической безопасности иностранных студентов в России: контент-анализ
Acculturative stress is a psychological response to the demands of a new cultural environment. However, in the present study, psychological safety is conceptualized as an outcome of successful adaptation, shaped by the nature of prior stress experiences. The study employed qualitative analysis of statements from 42 international students studying in Russia. A content analysis was conducted and visualized through an alluvial diagram. A hierarchical structure of acculturative stress domains was identified. Specific stressors (e.g., experiences of discrimination) were associated with prolonged stress impact. Although most participants reported a current sense of psychological safety, this perception was mediated by the content and resolution of earlier acculturative challenges.
