Электрофизиологические корреляты влияния трансформационных психологических методов на совладающее поведение
This work aims to investigate the impact of a transformational psychological game on changes in psychological parameters of coping behavior and to identify electrophysiological correlates, taking into account the age characteristics of the subjects. The intervention was carried out using the transformational psychological game "Shambhala – 5" (by T.E. Sizikova). The article analyzes psychologist views on transformation, a concept with a history of over a century but rarely applied in scientific and practical psychology. From C. G. Jung to M. Sh. Magomed-Eminov, the concept of transformation has acquired its deepened and expanded meaning. The conducted experimental study on the influence of the transformational psychological gaming method on an individual's state and their reflection is novel and necessary
in the contemporary direction of psychology's development. A sequence of tests was used: The Proactive Coping Inventory (PCI), adapted by E.P. Belinskaya and A.V. Veckerin (2018); the Ways of Coping Questionnaire (WCQ), adapted by the National Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology (2009); the Coping Strategy Indicator (CSI), adapted by N.A. Sirota and V.M. Yaltonsky (1994). For the objective diagnosis of a person's psychophysiological state, an electroencephalogram (EEG) was recorded before and after the transformational game. The study involved 156 people (mean age 27±9 years). The sample was divided by age criterion: under 22 years old (mean age 20±2 years) and over 22 years old (mean age 33±8 years). The results showed that the transformational psychological game, as a method working with coping strategies, had the greatest impact on the age group over 22 years old and consistently influenced the search for and acceptance of the need for constructive methods and strategies of self-regulation and self-organization under stressful conditions. The results revealed interhemispheric differences in the theta- and beta-rhythm ranges of the EEG in the older group of participants (over 22 years old), indicating a significant impact of the game on the psychophysiological state. The conducted study emphasizes the importance of using transformational gaming methods in psychology to improve overall emotional state, including stress management, based on reflection, and opens new directions for further research.
