Problems of Implementing the Control Law in LLC Converters with Different Parameters of the Resonant Circuit
The article considers the task of implementing a unified control law for the serial production of a line of power supplies based on an LLC converter. The aim of the study is to create a control law that allows meeting the requirements for the stability of the transducer at various parameters of the resonant circuit. The methodology includes an analysis of the low-signal frequency characteristics of the converter to determine the worst case by the variation of the parameters of the reactive elements and the operating point. The variation in the values of the elements of a resonant LLC converter significantly affects its dynamic characteristics, reducing the final amplitude margin by up to 6 dB. Based on the obtained transfer characteristics, the regulator parameters were determined, providing the necessary stability reserves for the entire range of converters. The practical significance of the work lies in reducing production costs: the algorithm eliminates the need for multiple firmware, reduces the possibility of programming errors.
