No Kids Zone как симптом пространственной сегрегации в современной Республике Корея
In recent years, there has been a growing discussion and debate in Korean society regarding the 'No Kids Zone' phenomenon. This refers to a practice that prohibits children under a certain age from entering certain public spaces, such as cafes and restaurants. More than half of the population in the Republic of Korea supports the existence of 'No Kids Zone', while others oppose them. This study aims to analyze 'No Kids Zone' as an example of spatial segregation of the modern Republic of Korea from 2014 to the present day. It examines the characteristics, causes, measures taken by the authorities to address this issue, as well as potential consequences. 'No Kids Zone' can cause social risks, including discrimination against children and parents, changes in children's self-perception, difficulties for parents, parental stress, and the emergence of other types of spatial segregation such as 'No Zone' areas. Through this research, we aim to raise awareness of a serious social issue currently facing South Korean society and provide the foundation for further research of this phenomenon in Russia.
