Продовольственная безопасность в Северной Африке в контексте продовольственного кризиса (2022–2024)
This article focuses on the specifics of the impact of the global food crisis on the North African region in the period 2022–2024. The article examines the general dynamics of the food crisis in North African states on the basis of statistical data. The author turns their attention to the food security situation of such North African states as Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, Libya and Morocco at the onset of the crisis, as well as identifies the dynamics and certain features of its development right up until today. The article focuses on identifying the key challenges faced by North African countries in the context of food security, proposing potential solutions to these challenges. The author also attempts to make a forecast of the further development of the food security situation in the region based on the solutions already adopted and implemented by the North African states. The author concludes with the extent of the impact of the global food crisis on North Africa and the short-term prospects for the region in the context of the problem at hand.
