Шантаракшита. Таттвасанграха, главы XVII-XVIII, об инструментах достоверного познания, с комментарием Камалашилы "Панджика" [пер. с санскрита, введение, исследоват. часть и коммент. В.Г. Лысенко, Н.А. Канаевой].
This book presents a study on the Buddhist epistemology and logic as developed in the compendium «Tattvasaṃgraha» («Collection of categories») of the great Buddhist scholar Śāntarakṣita and in the commentary thereon «Pañjikā» by his no less famous disciple Kamalaśīla (both of them lived in the VIII-th century).
The coauthors of the book focus their attention on the two chapters: «Critical Examination of the definition of perception» (ch.17) and «Critical Examination of Inference » (ch.18), devoted to the analysis of the two instruments of valid cognition (pramāṇa) recognized in Buddhist epistemology. The book contains a translation from Sanskrit into Russian of these two chapters by Victoriya Lysenko (Chapter on perception – first translation into Russian) and Nataliya Kanaeva (Chapter on inference – revised translation). In the research section of the book Introduction, Chapter 1, Chapter 3 were written by N. Kanaeva, and Chapter 2 -- by V. Lysenko.
