The history and background of the laser gyro are considered. The main position of the laser gyros at the navigation market is shown.
In the present publication the invited, plenary and poster papers of the 20th Saint-Petersburg International Conference on Integrated Navigation Systems (27-29 May, 2013) are presented.

In order to find research on a specific topic or to get an overview of the topics that are published at different academic venues, academics need to browse data from existing academic publications. The title and abstract of publications contains useful key-phrases indicating the topic of the publication, but these need to be directly extracted and presented in a browsable format in order to allow the user to find relevant publications. We extract key-phrases and use these to construct a concept lattice for a dataset of publications. We then present the information in an intuitive interactive tag cloud browser where navigation is supported by the underlying concept lattice.
The article describes routs of visitors of museum-reserve Tsaritsyno (Moscow) after its reconstruction -- in the most popular and crowded "historical" part of the park and in the distant areas. In addition, we consider which type of visitors prefer certain routes, as well as how visitors experience space in different parts of the park (or different modes of perception). The article describes such modes as "consumption of public space", "romantic tourist gaze" and "existential" mode.

The paper describes the development of a robotic platform for buildings. The versatility of the platform allows its applying in various fields of human activity, both in the remote control and autonomous regime. The main steps involved in creating a robotic platform are described; its characteristics and working results are given.
The comprehensive step-by-step method of the accelerometer choosing for the laser strapdown inertial navigation system of new generation is considered. The results of Si-flex and Q-flex accelerometers research and comparative tests are presented. The advantages and the problems of the above accelerometers connected with pendulum material are described and its influence on the accelerometers accuracy parameters as well as inertial navigation systems's accuracy class and its place among innovative sptrapdown systems are considered
A method based on the spectral analysis of thermowave oscillations formed under the effect of radiation of lasers operated in a periodic pulsed mode is developed for investigating the state of the interface of multilayered systems. The method is based on high sensitivity of the shape of the oscillating component of the pyrometric signal to adhesion characteristics of the phase interface. The shape of the signal is quantitatively estimated using the correlation coefficient (for a film–interface system) and the transfer function (for multilayered specimens).
This volume presents new results in the study and optimization of information transmission models in telecommunication networks using different approaches, mainly based on theiries of queueing systems and queueing networks .
The paper provides a number of proposed draft operational guidelines for technology measurement and includes a number of tentative technology definitions to be used for statistical purposes, principles for identification and classification of potentially growing technology areas, suggestions on the survey strategies and indicators. These are the key components of an internationally harmonized framework for collecting and interpreting technology data that would need to be further developed through a broader consultation process. A summary of definitions of technology already available in OECD manuals and the stocktaking results are provided in the Annex section.
