Transformational Leadership and Project Success: Serial Mediation of Team-Building and Teamwork

Frontiers in Psychology. 2021. Vol. 12. Article 689311.
Hussain A., Chuanmin S., Mansoor A., Arshad M., Muhammad K., Tikhomirova A.

This research investigates the impact of transformational leadership (TL) style on projectsuccess (PS) in the indirect effect of serial mediation of team-building and teamworkquality (TWQ). A quantitative research approach was used for this study. Data weregathered from 374 professional information system development (ISD) project managersin Pakistan. The hypotheses were tested using regression analysis with bootstrapping. Both team-building and teamwork independently and serially mediate the relationshipbetween the TL and PS of the project managers, respectively. The TL style of the projectmanager intensifies PS with team-building practices (TBP) and TWQ. The TL boostsTWQ in terms of communication, coordination, and cohesion to achieve a successfulproject. The findings suggest that TL is associated with PS through serial mediation ofteam-building and teamwork. No research to date has used this nascent methodologyto explore the association between TL and PS.

Petrov I., Автоматика и телемеханика 2026 № 6 С. 82–118

Zamyatina N., Rusakov D., Evgeny V.,
Luigi Pasinetti: the approach to development planning in historical context
Melnik D. V., Garbellini N., Halevi J., Structural Change and Economic Dynamics 2026 Vol. 78 P. 1–9
This paper argues that Luigi Pasinetti’s theory of structural change—most notably his concept of vertically hyper-integrated sectors—can be better understood when read against the background of the Soviet debates on planning and industrialization of the 1920s and 1930s. We suggest that Pasinetti’s analytical framework addresses, at a high level of abstraction, a set of problems ...
