Психодинамический подход к организационному развитию
Despite the increasing number of studies on how emotions impact organisational behaviour in business and economics, still much efforts in diminishing emotional interference with rationality focuses on controlling or eliminating the "human factor".
The present study is an overview of the main concepts in psychodynamic approach to organisations which take a view on the organization as psycho-social system. Taking this approach allows to explore and make meaning of the irrational phenomena of organizational life, which otherwise can not be understood and changed.
Organisations being psycho-social systems inevitably provoke anxiety in its members, at the same time offering means to manage these anxieties (social defense mechanisms) often institutionalized in the form of organizational structures, practices, norms and culture. Thus all these key organizational variables are both the objects of management efforts and the symptoms of organizational emotional system. Without exploring the meaning of these symptoms effective organizational change is hindered and takes the form of the single learning loop. Negative capability of the leadership and reflective spaces in organisations become key to enable organizational development along the double and triple loop learning.
The author of the article impugns the efficiency of consideration of productivity of activity of higher schools (universities) as a criterion of their development which is connected with the polysemy of understanding of the given term, the multi-purpose nature of the organization and the distinction of the subjects of the estimation of its efficiency. Simultaneously he believes that as the problem of development of science is assigned to universities in modern Russia it is necessary for the state as the only customer of preparation of scientists to show universities this order accurately and to give full state financing.

The article is anylized the totalitarian power in the framework of the theory of narcissism. Narcissistic projections grand and insignificant "I" explain the specifics of ideological idealization of the people from one point of view, and terror as the implementation mechanism of devaluation, from a different point of view. It is demonstrated that the theory of narcissism can be heuristic to explain various phenomena of political and social life.
The chapter reviews the dynamics of Russian public interest in the US president and Russian public opinion towards the USA and Barack Obama between 2008 and 2013. The results indicate that Russians are predominantly indifferent towards Barack Obama and the USA in general. However, a negative attitude growth trend in 2012-2013 is evident, most likely associated with Russian state propaganda in response to the Magnitsky Act. The author discusses these facts and proposes a psychological explanation to the Russian reaction based on the psychodynamic notion of defense mechanisms.
Psychoanalytic tradition of study of food as a primary form of communication of a person and the world is represented in the researches of M. Klein, D. Frankl, F. Perls - in their works we can see evolution of the psychoanalytic tradition of study of food experience of a person - from the analysis of the primary food experience in the relationship mother-baby to the idea of mental metabolism, which has structural similarity with food metabolism. F. Perls and D. Frankl articulated the communicative concept of food experience, according to which the identity of a person is formed and his/her existential choice is constructed, too. The main psychoanalytic idea is that food experience is passed through the human positive / negative energy of libido - that is encounter with the world as Others in the primary act of food awakens ones own libidinal energy of an individual and serves as a stimulus to personal development. Psychoanalysis insists that the underlying constructs of interaction with the world are formed in early childhood, are based on the primary food reactions, and are projected to all other forms of its communications. The theory of assimilation and introjection of the authority is the most important discovery of F. Perls. Standards to ensure the quality of physical and mental metabolism are assimilation. At the level of introjection an embedded object maintains without any processing. Normal personal growth always implies a critical attitude toward any objects from the surrounding world, a molar, rather aggressive attitude towards them, and as a result - their assimilation. While introduction of any values in the consciousness of a person occurs when a person forms ability to introjecton and inability to assimilation. Therefore, a totalitarian society has a special food culture - when the level of the body inculcates the habit of introjection of the external object in the form of food, the habit, which is extrapolated to other areas of life, including the sphere of consciousness. Then mental metabolism is also disturbed, and the person is ready to introjection what is suitable for a totalitarian power. Therefore, a totalitarian society cannot be an affluent society - in particular, the culture of food of a totalitarian society must have defective nature and must be accompanied by repressive nutritional practices.
The world provides us a lot of opportunities. One of the main challenges for an organization is being safe with its focus on strategic goals and transferring them into results. Organizational project management (OPM) is already for a long time not just a tool or a method but a whole concept to model company’s activity. OPM is a systematic approach aimed at achieving strategic goals. The extent to which an organization uses OPM refers to OPM maturity. The study focuses on maturity models examination and provides a new model for projectized organizations. The results of this research can be used to assess and develop maturity in projectized organizations. The structure of the paper is as follows: a review on the evolution and general types of MM; an OPM model presentation the results of its testing in a real company; and finally the general recommendations on MM application.
Students' internet usage attracts the attention of many researchers in different countries. Differences in internet penetration in diverse countries lead us to ask about the interaction of medium and culture in this process. In this paper we present an analysis based on a sample of 825 students from 18 Russian universities and discuss findings on particularities of students' ICT usage. On the background of the findings of the study, based on data collected in 2008-2009 year during a project "A сross-cultural study of the new learning culture formation in Germany and Russia", we discuss the problem of plagiarism in Russia, the availability of ICT features in Russian universities and an evaluation of the attractiveness of different categories of ICT usage and gender specifics in the use of ICT.
The paper examines the structure, governance, and balance sheets of state-controlled banks in Russia, which accounted for over 55 percent of the total assets in the country's banking system in early 2012. The author offers a credible estimate of the size of the country's state banking sector by including banks that are indirectly owned by public organizations. Contrary to some predictions based on the theoretical literature on economic transition, he explains the relatively high profitability and efficiency of Russian state-controlled banks by pointing to their competitive position in such functions as acquisition and disposal of assets on behalf of the government. Also suggested in the paper is a different way of looking at market concentration in Russia (by consolidating the market shares of core state-controlled banks), which produces a picture of a more concentrated market than officially reported. Lastly, one of the author's interesting conclusions is that China provides a better benchmark than the formerly centrally planned economies of Central and Eastern Europe by which to assess the viability of state ownership of banks in Russia and to evaluate the country's banking sector.
The results of cross-cultural research of implicit theories of innovativeness among students and teachers, representatives of three ethnocultural groups: Russians, the people of the North Caucasus (Chechens and Ingushs) and Tuvinians (N=804) are presented. Intergroup differences in implicit theories of innovativeness are revealed: the ‘individual’ theories of innovativeness prevail among Russians and among the students, the ‘social’ theories of innovativeness are more expressed among respondents from the North Caucasus, Tuva and among the teachers. Using the structural equations modeling the universal model of values impact on implicit theories of innovativeness and attitudes towards innovations is constructed. Values of the Openness to changes and individual theories of innovativeness promote the positive relation to innovations. Results of research have shown that implicit theories of innovativeness differ in different cultures, and values make different impact on the attitudes towards innovations and innovative experience in different cultures.

At present many industries reveal tendency for setting up of vertically integrated companies (VIC) the structure of which unites all technological processes. This tendency proved its efficiency in oil industry where coordination of all successive stages of technological process, namely, oil prospecting and production -oil transportation - oil processing - oil chemistry - oil products and oil chemicals marketing, is necessary. The article considers specific features of introduction of "personnel management" module at enterprises of oil and gas industry.
