Объяснение в политической науке: конструктивизм vs позитивизм.
: Explanation – as a process and as a result of knowledge – depends on ways and methods of organization of this activity. Positivistic canon produces two classes of the problems for political explanation: the evaluative categorization and elimination (the will of) political subjects. Methodology in political science is not reducible to the methodology in the natural and exact sciences. Firstly, the latter themselves are dependent on the constructive conceptual activity of the knowing subject. Secondly, it devastates the very essence of political subject – the existence of political actors, whose motivation and will are reduced to abstract schemes. The paper contains an attempt to show the prospect for an explanation through the procedure (algorithm, technology, history) generating of phenomena or concepts.
