Европейский союз в мировой экономике: фактор БРИКС
This edited volume examines the place of the European Union in the global economy during the first quarter of the twenty-first century against the backdrop of an emerging global economic order in which BRICS countries are playing an increasingly important role. Particular attention is paid to the evolution of the EU’s integration strategy – its institutional forms, policy instruments, and underlying economic rationale – and to the ways in which these changes shape both the Union’s internal economic agenda and its external relations with major international partners. The study covers both the core areas of European economic integration, including Economic and Monetary Union, the European Social Model, and the European Single Market, and newer policy domains such as climate governance, the energy transition, rare earths, and artificial intelligence. A separate section explores the increasingly complex and contradictory interaction between the European Union, BRICS countries, and the broader Global South.
