The article examines the socio-economic effects of the creation of technoparks in single-industry towns.
Special attention is paid to innovative infrastructure as a tool for territorial
development and reducing the dependence of municipalities on city-forming
enterprises. The article analyzes government programs in the areas under consideration, as well as examples
of operating technoparks in the territory of single-industry towns. The tools
of innovative development are classified and their applicability to territories of different scales and with different
socio-economic situation. The main barriers to the formation
of an innovative infrastructure are identified, as well as the conditions and factors under which technoparks
contribute to the sustainable socio-economic development of single-industry towns.
