The collection is dedicated to the 95th anniversary of industrialization in the USSR and the 90th anniversary of the Chelyabinsk region. It includes articles by historians, employees of academic institutes, archives, museums and libraries, teachers of higher educational institutions, graduate students, postgraduate students, teachers, and local historians. The publication covers the history of the South Urals in the 18th - early 20th centuries; regional aspects of economic, political and social transformations of the 1920s; special attention is paid to the problems of industrialization and history of the 1930s, when the formation of the Chelyabinsk region as a region took place; in addition, the collection covers the history of the Great Patriotic War and individual stories of post-war development, modern experience of working with the past of memory institutions.
