The study analyzes some of the problems of legal regulation of social support for children with disabilities and the families in which they are raised. The foreign experience of applying social support measures is analyzed. The article presents the legislative and law enforcement practice of providing legal assistance to families with disabled children by the Institute of the Commissioner for Children's Rights. The role and importance of socially oriented non-profit organizations in the social support of children with disabilities and people with disabilities are investigated. The analysis of the system of educational procedures aimed at strengthening social support for families with disabled children is carried out.
