Fertility, Marriage Age, and Contraceptive use in Central Asia and North Africa: A Comparative Study

Цель данной работы - сравнить показатели рождаемости, первого возраста вступления в брак, использования контрацепции в странах Центральной Азии и Северной Африки: Кыргызстане, Таджикистане, Узбекистане и Казахстане. Египет, Алжир, Тунис и Марокко соответственно.
Результаты показывают, что рождаемость в Марокко и Кыргызстане различна, в Марокко самый высокий возраст вступления в первый брак, а в Кыргызстане - самый низкий. В сельских районах уровень рождаемости ниже, чем в городах. Общий коэффициент рождаемости в Марокко составляет 2,35, что свидетельствует об успешных усилиях правительства по снижению рождаемости. Коэффициент рождаемости в Тунисе - самый низкий среди всех стран. На рождаемость также влияют такие факторы, как уровень образования, доступ к контрацепции, религиозные убеждения и спрос на услуги по планированию семьи. В Египте возраст вступления в первый брак варьируется в зависимости от места проживания, причем в городских районах он выше, чем в сельской местности. В Кыргызстане самый высокий уровень рождаемости, который снизится с 3,9 ребенка на одну женщину в 2011 году до 3,05 в 2020 году. Эти последствия требуют серьезных исследований, поскольку население некоторых стран растет очень быстро, а некоторых - замедляется, что очень хорошо. Если рождаемость снижается, то это должно повлиять на численность населения с учетом всех остальных факторов.
