Colleagues from MITSO have developed a draft model law "On Information and Analytical Support of Law Enforcement Activities". There is no doubt that this is an interesting conceptual development that deserves the closest attention.  However, it is clear that this rule-making process in this area is in its infancy. The system of regulatory legal acts in the field of analytics is not yet optimal, does not have a clear well-thought-out structure, it lacks the necessary links, for example, analytical standards and quality management systems. This system needs to be further developed and improved.
