The monograph is an attempt to comprehensively study the state policy of the integration of immigrants from the countries of the post-Soviet space into modern Russian society. The author addresses both the theoretical-conceptual and practical aspects of integration policy, responding to the question: What is the essence of immigrant integration policy? What conditions and factors influence the emerging Russian integration policy, predetermining its specificity? What are the political-legal, socio-economic, and cultural-religious integration measures implemented in Russia today? The monograph is written on the basis of a large set of empirical data and concludes with a number of recommendations aimed at improving the effectiveness of Russian integration policy.
The book will be of particular interest to political scientists, sociologists, and political philosophers specializing in the integration of immigrants, political decision-makers in the field of migration policy, as well as a wide range of readers interested in the migration agenda.
