The Institute of Elections is one of the most ancient institutions of society. Elections are a joint and independent expression of the will of citizens in the form of voting in favor of certain candidates for positions in public authorities. The people, choosing their representatives, authorizes them to exercise the State power belonging to them. The meaning of the elections is that all citizens can express their will, and the state power should be created and act in accordance with this will.
The textbook contains an introductory lecture, a short lecture course on electoral law, test and situational tasks on knowledge of electoral law and the electoral process, reference materials. It is addressed to undergraduate and specialist students, undergraduates and teachers, practitioners in order to improve their skills.
