The paper deals with one of the key discursive strategies of Telegram-channels in terms of informational concurrence both in TG sphere, and with traditional media, that is the strategy of self-referencing regarded in the aspect of Luhmann’s concepts. One of the essential means of it is focusing on the forecast efficiency. Referring to one’s own forecast competencies and efficiency of the forecasts helps communicators represent their concurrent advantages and indicates the self-identification of TG as analytical media .
