Russia–India–China "triangle" Cooperation in Combating International Terrorism in the Context of Current Foreign Policy Challenges
The problem of cobating the threat of international terrorism has become urgent nowadays. In this case, the Russia–India– China “triangle” has been active in organising counter-terrorism activities, holding joint counter-terrorism exercises, signing agreements on international security issues, and organising summit meetings. Thus, the goal of this study is to assess the prospects and main barriers of cooperation within the RIC “triangle” countries in the fi ght against international terrorism. The current study aims to cover such research areas as the formats of cooperation within the RIC countries on counterterrorism actions, the motives for each of the RIC countries to participate in these international security campaigns, the diffi culties in the relations between the countries within the RIC “triangle”. According to the data obtained during the study, it can be stated that despite all the diffi culties, relations within the “triangle” develop within the positive dynamic, and the problem of international terrorism urgent for all the RIC members is a factor that brings the three sides together and ensures the productive development of the trilateral dialogue.
