Researchers Discover How Spelling Errors Slow Down Reading in Russian
Psycholinguists from the Centre for Language and Brain at HSE University–St Petersburg have shown that words that are frequently misspelled are processed more slowly by readers, even when presented with the correct spelling. The researchers confirmed this effect for the first time using Russian-language materials and found that response speed is most strongly linked to how confidently individuals can distinguish the correct spelling of a word from an incorrect one. The study has been published in The Mental Lexicon.

HSE Develops App for Assessing Phonological Processing in Children
Researchers at the HSE Centre for Language and Brain have developed a new digital tool for assessing children's phonological processing skills—the ZARYA (Sound Analysis of the Russian Language) test battery. It is the first standardised application in Russia designed to provide a fast and reliable assessment of children's ability to distinguish speech sounds, retain them in working memory, and perform phonemic analysis. The app runs on Android tablets and smartphones and is available for download from RuStore. Details of the test validation have been published in the Journal of Speech, Language, and Hearing Research.

Scientists Discover Why Europium 'Misbehaves'
Europium is a rare-earth metal responsible for the pure red glow in displays and other luminescent materials. For a long time, however, it refused to emit light when surrounded by certain organic molecules known as acylpyrazolone ligands. Chemists have now uncovered the reason: in europium complexes with these ligands, a 'black window' appears—a charge-transfer state in which the energy absorbed by the ligand is dissipated as heat rather than emitted as light. Understanding this mechanism opens the way to designing more efficient red-emitting materials for displays, fluorescent thermometers, and chemical sensors. The results have been published in Dalton Transactions.

О попытках совершить глобалистскую революцию. 1: Рассмотрение глобализма в «революционном» аспекте

Гл. 13. С. 544–571.
Grinin L. E., Гринин А. Л.

Consisting of two linked articles, this paper discusses the question, which is of great current importance, how to interpret the rapidly accelerating changes in the world. We conclude that many of these changes, related to the green agenda and the growing volume of commitments to "rescue" the climate, as well as to COVID-19, the ongoing confrontation within American society and changes in US foreign policy, have a common cause. The latter is associated with a sharp activation of those forces that can be called globalist. We believe that the world is experiencing the beginning of events that can be equated with the world globalist revolution. Humanity has never experienced events of such magnitude in peacetime, associated with attempts to make radical changes in the politics of many countries and the way of life of a huge part of the population. The work shows the similarity of modern events with revolutions, formulates the features of the world revolution, analyzes the options for the outcome of this revolution, as well as its chances of victory or defeat. It is concluded that the victory of the globalists will lead to serious problems in the economy and a drop in living standards in many countries. In this work, we tried to objectively assess the role of globalists in the possible evolution of the World System in the future, and on this basis we make forecasts for the development of the World System in the next few decades. In the first article, we will show that behind many of the rapid and often incomprehensible changes in the world are globalists, that is, a powerful alliance of the largest representatives of finance, business and the highest elite, who, in their interests and plans, objectively already oppose the national interests of their own states. The article explains why the “green course” is so important for globalists, for the sake of which they seek to make such radical changes in world technologies, institutions and ideologies that are increasingly reminiscent of revolutionary ones, only not on a national, but on a global scale. Based on the theory of revolution, we will consider how applicable the concept of revolution is to modern changes, we will see that the consequences that this world “revolution” can bring to the world and individual countries can be very negative and destructive.

As a result of the start of the NWO in February 2022, the globalists temporarily retreated, but it is important to understand that they will try to regain lost positions and seize new ones. In the second article, we will talk about the current state of the globalists.
