In the article, the author formulates his view on revolutions, showing
their pros and cons, their pros and cons in different aspects, past and present. The article discusses whether revolutions are inevitable, formulates some recommendations that theoretically can help avoid revolutions. It is shown how and why the role of revolutions is essential changes in different periods of history, an explanation is given why revolutions from the “locomotives of development” eventually turned out to be an unproductive social experiment. Nevertheless, although revolutions are a very dangerous and very costly way to change society, they have by no means become an archaic phenomenon in the modern world. Therefore, the topic of the article is very relevant.
