Российско-индонезийское сотрудничество в сфере обеспечения кибербезопасности
The eastern vector of Russian foreign policy and economic development has acquired particularly expressive outlines since 2022. Among other directions, it involves a search for partnerships for joint solutions to security problems in the Asia-Pacific region. One of the foundations of national security in the global information society is the security of the digital space or cybersecurity. Cooperation for its strengthening is aimed not only at the safe transfer and use of information but also at countering cyber threats and cyber-attacks, as well as the illegal use of advanced technologies and developments. Based on the laws on the protection of personal data of the Republic of Indonesia and the Russian Federation, the regulations on the operation of electronic systems, the international standards for the transmission and preservation of ISO communications, the strategic initiatives of the Republic of Indonesia in the field of cybersecurity, and the analysis of the work of crowdfunding platforms and cyber market, the paper argues that cooperation with Indonesia as a country that has gained considerable experience in this area will allow the Russian Federation to enrich the theoretical developments of ensuring Russia's own cybersecurity, as well as to address applied tasks, as the implementation of the "Pivot to the East" gains traction.
