Социальная теория
С. 41–69.
This chapter is one of the key chapters in the book and focuses on how the problem of the future is thematized and discussed by leading foreign intellectuals in Western universities and think tanks. It is noted that a characteristic feature of social theorists of the early 21st century is a catastrophic visionarity, which predetermines their orientation toward direct political action and is the basis of the imperative of all those measures that are put forward as policies, as well as the rigidly defined normativity of theories. Theories of this type are labeled "affirmative".
