Репрезентация и ремедиация русского фольклора в отечественных видеоиграх
In this study, an attempt will be made to analyze how elements of Rus-sian folklore are reproduced within the framework of interactive works. Methodological-ly, the study is based on the achievements of the Russian formal school, as well as on the human studies of Espen Orset, Jesper Yule and Mark Wolf. At the beginning of the work, the features of the use of folklore elements in modern works of art are described. The fol-lowing is an analysis of a number of domestic video games that use elements of folk cul-ture in their setting and narrative. As a result, conclusions are drawn that in early Russian video games (1990-2000) elements of Russian folklore are used because of their easily recognizable attributes. Later video games (2000-2021) reinterpret Russian folk culture and adapt it to the features of interactive storytelling.
