Pocket Money, Personal Interest, and Family Practices: What Shapes Students Economic Literacy?
University students' economic literacy depends not only on their field of study but also on their interest in economics, the learning environment, and family financial practices. For example, students who received pocket money irregularly tend to perform better on economic literacy tests than their peers who received financial support on a regular basis. These findings come from a study conducted by HSE University involving more than 1,100 students from five Russian universities. The findings have been published in Cakrawala Pendidikan.

Creative Work as a Remedy for Burnout
The creative, supportive atmosphere and innovative methods at the Centre for Sociocultural Research make it appealing to early-career scholars. HSE Study Reveals Imbalance in the Generative AI Market
Researchers at HSE University analysed how effectively the global generative artificial intelligence market converts investment into real revenue, concluding that AI is currently developing faster than it is paying off. The results have been published in the journal Foresight and STI Governance.

К проблеме доказательной психологической оценки социальной компетентности школьников в инклюзивном образовании

The purpose of the article is to analyze the problems of psychological assessment of the school students’ social competence in inclusive education according to evidence-based approach, which implies the link between science and practice. The article discusses the main theoretical approaches to the definition of the concept of social compe- tence: through indicators of personal effectiveness and the ability to achieve personal goals in social interaction; through a set of social skills and activities: as sensitivity to the problems of interaction between people, as an outcome of social, emotional and cultural intelligence. The integrative taxonomy of social competencies is considered as a theoretical framework for reviewing existing methods and identifying the need to develop new psychodiagnostic techniques, as well as for creating individual profiles of school students in inclusive education. The possibilities and limitations of using psychological methods and techniques adapted to the Russian-speaking sample for diagnosing the social competence of school students are discussed. The use of psychological diagnostic methods to assess the effectiveness of educational practice is considered from the point of view of evidence-based approach requirements.
