Цель перемещения в Евангелии от Луки: к усовершенствованию процедуры выделения прототипических контекстов
This paper aims to describe the sampling procedure of the prototypical contexts, containing the Goal of translational motion in the Gospel of Luke. The survey was based on five texts of Gospel of Luke: Koine Greek, English, Russian, Tabassaran and Sahidic Coptic. The main improvement of the sampling technique described are the listing of not only accepted but also rejected contexts. The rejected contexts discovered are classified into unstable (metaphorical) and deficient ones. The degree of prototypicity of the 212 sampled contexts was measured with regard to the homogeneity of the coding. The context was treated as homogeneously coded, if in all Gospel of Luke texts, the meaning of the Goal is expressed by the closed set of basic grammatical markers. These basic markers are chosen based on a priori knowledge of grammatical systems of the languages in focus; they tend have the marking of the Goal as their main function. The most homogeneously coded part of the sample is called the core of the sample. All 214 contexts were additionally classified into several semantic groups. The taxonomic type of the Goal can distinguish between persons, groups, body parts, settlements, buildings, biomes, artifacts, animals, means of transportation, substances, parts of building, natural objects, containers and abstract Goals. The topological types of the Goal are: space, surface, container and substance. The types of motion situation are as follows: motion, placement, transition, non-volitional change of posture, transportation. Finally, regarding the localization of the Trajector the contexts can be described with the following labels: APUD, CONT, IN, INTER, POST, SUB, SUPER. As it was expected, the semantic typesare not equally distributed between the core contexts and the rest (the periphery). The most well represented situation types of contexts in the core are motion and transition. The topology of the Goal is typically either space or container. The most frequent Goals in the core of the sample are settlement, person and building. The Trajector is generally localized IN and APUD ‘by’ the Landmark.
