Modernization - urgent large-scale and dynamic socio-economic and socio-political transformations - is always associated with a departure from stability and the risks of disruptions and national catastrophes. The main thesis of the book: conservative modernization - albeit to reduce risks, the most effective transformation strategy. The author, relying on the scientific concepts of sociology, economics and law, proves that the nature of transformations should correspond to the macro-social and socio-cultural conditions of these transformations.
