Темпорализм социальной реальности пандемии: общественное настроение, дискурсы и опыт
The book presents the results of a project dedicated to the study of the social realities of the lives of people with limited mobility during the pandemic in three Russian cities – Kazan, Saratov and Tomsk. The subject focus and purpose of the study of the temporality of the pandemic crisis consisted in the analysis of public attitudes, discourses and experience of coping with the emergence of a new social reality. The results of a questionnaire survey of small-scale citizens show that against the background of collective stress caused by the pandemic crisis, a sense of problems and breakdowns of the social system, new solidarity manifested itself, forms of support and cohesion strengthened. The analysis of representations of low-mobility citizens in the Russian print media allowed us to build a network model that is visualized in graphs of mutual mentions and captures the dynamics of images, affecting aspects of accessibility of the environment and the challenges of the coronavirus pandemic. Interviews with representatives of low-mobility groups, students and social service workers showed how the crisis affected the lifestyle of social groups, what changes were made to material, physical and emotional well-being, how ideas about the security of personal communications changed, what challenges were felt by administrators and specialists of social services, how symbolic boundaries were revised in professional practice of social care. The ideas of students about the challenges of the coronacrisis are considered, special attention is paid to the temporal dimensions of social reality in the conditions of a pandemic
