ФРАЗЕОЛОГИЯ В РАКУРСЕ «РУССКОГО КОНСТРУКТИКОНА»
We compare two projects: the ideographic description of Russian phraseology in the «Thesaurus of Russian idioms» [Baranov, Dobrovolsky 2007], on the one hand, and “The Russian Constructicon” (https://constructicon.github.io/russian/), a joint project of the research group CLEAR (UiT The Arctic University of Norway) and School of Linguistics (NRU HSE), on the other hand. Both resources describe non-compositional expressions in Russian, suggesting a semantic classification of linguistic units. However, these resources have different objectives and are prototypically focused on different types of linguistic units. As shown in this study, they are built on different principles and do not duplicate each other. A consistent comparison of the Thesaurus with “The Russian Constructicon” facilitates the functional classification of phraseological units proposed in the theoretical papers of A.N. Baranov and D.O. Dobrovolsky from a new perspective. By promoting and clarifying this classification, this article focuses on the relationships between specific classes of idioms, and their quantitative assessment.
