«Возвращается муж из командировки»: дисциплинарные взгляды на супружескую измену в анекдоте
This research presents sociological, linguistic, folklore (psychoanalytic and structural-semiotic) approaches to the analysis of the contemporary anecdote about adultery. The proposed academic interpretations of satirical texts are quite different, but they allow us to explain the popularity and reproducibility of anecdotal stories about married life, gender stereotyping, the reasons for the demonization of women and ridiculation of male, as well as the modern specifics of the existence of a joke and the recreation of a laughable effect. However, the viability of such stories about female infidelity is connected not only with the communicative situation of the existence of the joke. The article also analyzes the unified structure of the stunt plot and the connection between medieval fabulous tales about “women's tricks” and modern jokes with a typical beginning “the husband returns from a business trip”. Such anecdotes often use the same tricky plots, motifs and formulaic beginning, as well as anecdotal fairy tales about women's cheating. In a contemporary joke, there is no explicitly pronounced didactics and morals, but it has identical signs as a fabulous tales— installation for fiction, similar formula of beginning, composite turn the plot caused by tricks and savvy of heroes, comic denouement and laughing effect.
