От бояр до роботов: образ Иванушки-дурачка в ранней манге Тэдзуки Осаму 1950-х гг.
The article analyzes how, through the archetype of Russian fairy-tale hero Ivan the Fool, some plots of Japanese comics created by the legendary manga author are built. Based on three early manga works made by Osamu Tezuka, the visual representation of the main characters is described, as well as the semantics of their names and surnames. The two-volume manga Next World (Kitarubeki sekai, 1951), the one-shot Red Snow (Akai
Yuki, 1955) and the short chapter Ivanushka the Fool (Ivan no baka no maki, 1959) from Mighty Atom manga series were chosen as the objects of research. The lexical features of Russian names formulation are traced. Special attention is paid to the images of female characters who form a pair with characters named Ivan. The visual marks indicating heroes and heroines of Slavic origin are also noted.
