The article presents the original contest called “V Fokuse Vnimania” (In the Focus of Attention), which is one of the organizational conditions for increasing the research culture of students and teachers of the “26 KADR” College. The key-feature of the contest is that the participants themselves decide what type of expertise they want to receive — discussion on the design of their research, discussion on the preliminary results or research progress, or feedback on the completed research. The competition also brings together schoolchildren, students and teachers at the College around the diverse practice of research implementation, expanding the range of formats for presenting research trials, progress and research results in various subject areas.
