The collective monograph is based on the materials of the International
Science and Practice Conference “Shatilov’s Readings. Foreign Language
Education and the Prospects of its Development”. The authors reflect on the
content of foreign language education as a dynamically developing category,
present theoretical and technological innovations in foreign language teaching,
propose forms of organisation and development strategies for supplementary
education, describe the interaction between school and university, including
planning and conducting academic research.
The collective monograph is targeted at university lecturers, teachers of
schools, lyceums, gymnasiums, supplementary education teachers, graduate
students, bachelor’s and master’s degree students majoring in education.
