The discussion focuses on the recently opened "Crystal Wailing Wall" at the "Babiy Yar" memorial complex, an art object created by the famous artist and performance artist Marina Abramovich. The authors from different analytical positions and from different subject fields demonstrate the rich interpretative resource of this art object. Describing various aspects of the composition, the panelists draw attention to the difficulties associated both with the discussion of the Holocaust and with the forms of its commemorative presentation.
