The paper considers trade and economic relations between IRI and the EAEU member states in 2019-2020. The authors explained the reasons for maintaining and increasing interest in this integration project. The study identifies the challenges facing the participants of the Interim Agreement leading to the creation of a FTA between the IRI and the EAEU, one of which is the lack of foreign capital. The authors explain the possibilities of using Islamic banking mechanisms to attract investments from Muslim countries for the development of an integration project between IRI and the EAEU as part of a larger regional project of the International Transport Corridor "North-South".

Thispaper, based mainly on Russian archival sources, focuses on studying the dynamics of the guidelines of the CommunistInternational and the Communist Party of Iran, the attempts and features of their implementation, as well as on therelationship of the Iranian Communists with the Bolsheviks and the leadership of the Communist International.
