The article examines the factors of perception of health communication on the topic of HIV. The material for the study was the data of a focus group interview conducted among young people in Moscow. The respondents' awareness of health issues, attitudes in the field of maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and the peculiarities of the perception of HIV videos are analyzed. It was revealed that representatives of Moscow youth positively perceive the participation of celebrities in such communication. The factors contributing to its effectiveness are the competence of celebrity, personal experience, charisma and popularity.
