HSE Graduates AI Project Wins at TECH & AI Awards
Daria Davydova, graduate of the HSE Graduate School of Business and Head of the AI Implementation Unit at the Artificial Intelligence Department of Alfa-Bank, received a prize at the TECH & AI Awards. She was awarded for the best AI solution for optimising business processes. The 'Second Shift' Is Not Why Women Avoid News
Women are more likely than men to avoid political and economic news, but the reasons for this behaviour are linked less to structural inequality or family-related stress than to personal attitudes and the emotional perception of news content. This conclusion was reached by HSE researchers after analysing data from a large-scale survey of more than 10,000 residents across 61 regions of Russia. The study findings have been published in Woman in Russian Society.

Развитие исследовательских способностей в игре: умение задавать вопросы

We continue to publish a series of articles on games as a means to develop research skills. These games are aimed at developing universal abilities that are significant in life in general and for enhancing the personal potential of young children and adolescents in the implementation of their research activity. The authors of the article share their many years of experience in working with preschool children, primary schoolchildren, as well as adolescents and high school students in research groups and on expeditions. In the fourth article, we present games to develop the ability to ask questions, one of the key research abilities. The article provides comments on how the proposed games can be used in working with children, considering their age.
