the author presents the Theory of social development (TPD V. V. Ivanov), created on the basis of many years of research. This Theory is based on the universal laws determined by the processes of self-organization of human communities throughout their existence, which allows us to identify the wave nature of this development, the feature of building universal waves of development (I-waves), the formation of their (I-waves) socio-social formations, the sequence and mechanisms of their development, change and interaction. In the framework of the research the author determined that the I-waves and social formations are clearly deterministic in time, up to a consistent change in their key phases. It is established that the content of formations, the order of 120 their change are not accidental and are clearly defined by the goals of development and consistent complication of the organization of social activity within each formation, which in turn determines the further change of scientific, economic, administrative, military, social and other society processes. The processes and mechanisms underlying the change of formations, including questions of sharp property stratification, are determined. TPD allows you to integrate into yourself and point to the problems of the development of key theories (Marx, Keynes, Arrighi, Kondratiev and others). In addition, the TPD allows to show the nature of the crisis in the economy and society, the possible scenario of its development with dates, as well as to identify and justify the most effective mechanisms to overcome it.
