О формировании социокультурной компетенции в обучении иностранному языку в вузе
The article discusses possible ways of forming socio-cultural competence in teaching a foreign language at a university, which is designed to fill the gap in the field of practical application of the theory of intercultural communication. The main purpose of the study is to determine the possible ways of developing the socio-cultural competence of students of non-linguistic specialties in teaching French. The research objectives include: analysis of existing approaches to the concept of "socio-cultural competence"; consideration of the practical use of the French educational platform "Français Authenticque" in the learning process; conducting a diagnostic survey among students and processing the data obtained; analysis of the impact of the practical use of the materials of the educational web platform in the learning process on the formation of the socio-cultural competence of bachelors. The National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE) was chosen as the research site. The novelty of the study is that the educational web platform used by the author was first tested in groups of second-year students of a non-linguistic university studying French "from scratch". The study showed that the application of a socio-cultural approach to teaching a foreign language on the example of the educational platform "Français Authenticque" can have a positive impact on the development of socio-cultural competence of students, helping to solve the problems identified at the initial stage of the study.
