Социализация детей мигрантов в КНР (направления новейших исследований)
This article analyzes the changes in the nature of labor migration between rural and urban areas. The ongoing transformations are associated with active urbanization in China in recent decades. The author examines the problems of socialization of children who come to the city with their parents - labor migrants. Based on recently published scientific articles on child migration in the PRC, the author points out new topics of modern international research.
Previous work focused on the problems of migrant children left behind in villages. Now more and more scientists are paying attention to the analysis of the problems of adolescents who come to a new environment to which they cannot adapt. Through the new perspective, one can see the actual socio-economic problems of adaptation of rural children in the host city community. It is shown that the forms of labor migration have changed in recent years, joint family migration becomes dominant over the separation of a family member. On the one hand, the popularization of the urban lifestyle among migrants influences their desire to move to the city together. On the other hand, the active policy of the Chinese authorities in solving the problems of migrants helps to change previous negative trends. The significant changes are currently taking place in hukou registration predicament, local migration control system, access to educational and other social resources.
