Современный этап развития системы европейской безопасности: возможности и проблемы

The article examines the current state of the European security system after the «critical» 2014, when the post-bipolar system (1991-2014) eroded as a result of external and internal challenges. However, the development of its own security and defense policy is seen as a key integration direction for turning the EU into a large, authoritative and capable player in the international arena. Despite the new crisis, the EU is increasing its internal resources and is trying to overcome existing dysfunctions.
