The paper examines the linguistic means adopted by Twitter Englishspeaking users to express implicitly their personal opinion. The results of the content analysis of tweets, processed by program Atlas.ti, illustrate how Twitter users imply opinion using various linguistic devices while being restricted to only 140 characters.
