"Интеграционный долгострой»: основные препятствия на пути углубления экономической интеграции в рамках южноамериканского регионального объединения МЕРКОСУР
The article deals with with the challenges of developing integration processes in South America using the example of the regional block MERCOSUR. The research is focused mainly on economic aspects of the topic. The author highlights the most challenging issues for developing economic integration between MERCOSUR member countries basing on the deep analysis of the relations among the countries examined as well as investigating the current integration level. Some ways of overcoming the difficulties are suggested. The author also analyses in a critical manner the very need of deeper integration in MERCOSUR nowadays.
