HSE Scientists Train Neural Network to 'Hear' Faults in Electric Motors
Researchers at the AI and Digital Science Institute of the HSE Faculty of Computer Science have developed a new method—the Signature-Guided Data Augmentation (SGDA) framework—that achieves 99% accuracy in motor fault detection and 86% accuracy in fault classification. The application of this approach can reduce industrial equipment repair costs, minimise downtime, and improve production safety. The study results have been published in Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence.

О создании языка истории искусства в России. Описание знаменитых произведениями школ и вышедших из оных художников и проч. (1767-1768) князя Д.А.Голицына

С. 337–361.
Sharnova E.

The article concerns the D.A.Golitsyn's book "Description of the prominent schools and their painters", which was written during his stay in Paris in 1767-1768 and was not published. It was one of the first tentatives to write history of art in Russia. Golitsyn was inspired by the texts of famous European authors (like Roger de Piles, Jean-Baptiste Decamps and others). He also made important additions to their texts which reflect his interest in drawings and his acquisitions of paintings for the collection of Imperial Hermitage.
