The place of Ukraine in Europe according to the level of air pollution using Earth remote sensing data
P. 130-132.
For the first time maps of air pollution risks by NO2, CO and aerosols over the territory of Europe with spatial resolution of up to 27.5×18 km were created. The global distribution of CO2 was estimated for the last 7 years.

For the first time spatio-temporal characteristics of air pollution by sulfur dioxide (SO2), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), carbon dioxide (CO2), carbon monoxide (CO) and aerosol over Ukraine and Europe are established. It was shown that moderate risks of air pollution by sulfur dioxide of eastern and western parts of Ukraine relate as 2:1. It was shown ...

For the first time, using remote sensing data (RSD), maps for Ukraine of atmospheric pollution risks by sulfur dioxide (SO2) with resolution 27.5 km × 18 km are created. It is shown, that risk levels of eastern and western parts of Ukraine are related as 2:1. Also for the first time, using RSD, the dependencies ...

Global warming has made the Arctic increasingly available for marine operations and created a demand for reliable operational sea ice forecasts to increase safety. Because ocean-ice numerical models are highly computationally intensive, relatively lightweight ML-based methods may be more efficient for sea ice forecasting. Many studies have exploited different deep learning models alongside classical approaches ...

The study considers how air quality affects the productivity of physically intensive labor. Namely, we analyze the athletes of the Ironman Triathlon, one of the toughest long-distance triathlon races in the world. Moreover, in this competition, both men and women, professional and amateur athletes, can participate. We consider the results of Ironman Triathlon from 2005 ...

Projects and reforms targeting infrastructure services can affect consumer welfare through changes in the price, coverage, or quality of the services provided. The benefits of improved service quality-while significant-are often overlooked because they are difficult to quantify. This paper reviews methods of evaluating the welfare implications of changes in the quality of infrastructure services within ...
